The plan was loose at best. An unexpected approach, when heading to one of those places that are mentioned on many a bucket list.
The crew plans almost always end up being this way. Bring your running gear, camera and camping setup. Expectations generally assume that we know what we’re doing, shooting these types of projects is quite a specific skillset after all.
I knew the mileage was going to be high and the days long, but there wasn’t any room for any alternatives. Roll with it.
Nick had sent me a gps location to meet at our basecamp for the week, he would find me there later.
Simple enough, I tapped Yosemite into Google Maps and off I went, South from Lake Tahoe, California.
